Signal and Communications Associates manufactures a highly reliable DTMF controller. While primarily manufactured to the high standards required of the rail and transit industry, it is equally useful for industrial applications. The unit offers several advantages over competitive systems, including:
.
In addition to the basic, universal DTMF controller, additional versions designed to control railroad flashers and gates are available. Contact SCA for a quote for your project.
Does your railroad employ a contractor? How do you know they are exercising due diligence? Are they actually performing the FRA tests or are they "paper-whipping" the process? Do you have a storage room full of "spare parts" left unlabeled and of questionable serviceability or safety? Are your required tests up-to-date? Is it better for regulators or a plaintiff's attorney to discover deficiencies, or is it better to correct problems now? Reach out to SCA if you have any concerns.
The Signal Sentry monitors critical safety parameters at wayside signal facilities or highway grade crossings. When faults are detected, the device notifies on-call personnel and/or a train dispatcher or other control operator via text message and/or email. The Signal Sentry also offers two remote control channels that can be used to control ancillary devices, such as activating or de-activating switch heaters, controlling a wayside communication device, or the like.
All back office functions are provided by Signal and Communications Associates. Railroad and Transit customers don't need to worry about individual cellular data bills, programming, or other administrative problems. The Signal Sentry is ideal for signal systems requiring high levels of reliability and safety.
